Chlorine dioxide is already recognized by EPA as safe and highly efficient disinfectant. Although with the word “chlorine ” of its name, it is not chlorine product which forms THMs generated through chlorination with organic loaded water. It has a very high efficacy against water-born micro organisms, e.g. bacteria,fungi yeasts and molds; viruses; algae; and protozoa. It is widely dosed in water treatment, food processing, hard surface disinfection as well as odor control with little to no effect on human, animal and fish cells.

Chlorine dioxidediffers from chlorine in that it dissolves in water but does not react with water as chlorine does, so it is less affected by pH.Unlike chlorine, you may use chlorine dioxide in combination with acid. Chlorine dioxide does not form trihalomethanes or other chlorine-additive products. Chlorine dioxide does not form chloramines. An adequate residual of chlorine dioxide exists, the water is being disinfected. It is less involved in competing reactions, it is much easier to maintain an effective residual of chlorine dioxide. Maintaining a residual disinfectant throughout the water stream destroys bacteria as soon as they enter.

Preparations of chlorine dioxide: powder and tablet
Concentrate: 1%-20%
Sizes of tablets: 0.8grams, 1grams, 4grams and those of customs made.
Package: single tablet packing, and bulk tablets packing 200grams-5000grams/bag, packed into cartons or drums. Smallest inner pack sizes depend on how much you are dosing one time.
